Softball

Lincoln Missouri Park Board participates in Kaysinger League offering softball to players 1st grade through 9th grade, offering age-appropriate instruction in a fun, supportive environment. 1st through 2nd grade is coach pitch and they focus on learning the basics—throwing, catching, hitting, and running the bases—while older players (3rd through 9th grade) are kid pitch and they develop pitching, defense, and game awareness. We focus on building a strong foundation by learning the correct fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the game. Games will be held throughout the week at local schools, starting in May and running until the middle of July. (Kindergarten players are welcome to register, but placement is not guaranteed. If roster spots are filled by 1st – 2nd grade players, kindergarteners will receive a full refund of their registration fee. If this happens, kindergarteners may register for our new T-Ball/Coach Pitch program.)
